Who you are buying from
Improvement Camp is a brand operated by VIEWSPIKE LLC. When you buy a product on this site, VIEWSPIKE LLC is the seller, and your payment is handled by our checkout and payment processor. The site may also include affiliate links to third-party products; when you follow one and buy, that purchase is made with and governed by the third party, not us, and we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Those links are labeled where they appear.
Terms of sale
These terms apply to every product sold on this site. Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged at checkout. Some offers include an optional add-on or a follow-up offer; each of those is a separate, clearly presented one-time charge that you choose to accept or decline. None of our products bill on a recurring or subscription basis. Products are delivered digitally. You receive access by email and through the link shown after purchase, so please use a valid email address.
Refund policy
You can request a full refund within 60 days of your purchase, for any reason. There is no form to fill out and no test to pass. Reach us through the contact page and we will return your payment to your original payment method. Because a full refund is always available on request, please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank, so we can take care of it for you directly.
Your license to use what you buy
When you buy a product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for yourself. You may not resell it, share it, post it publicly, or redistribute it in whole or in part.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images, logos, layout, and code, is owned by or licensed to Improvement Camp and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may share links to our pages. You may quote short excerpts with proper attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish full pages, products, or substantial portions of our content without express written permission.
User submissions
If you submit information through a contact form or comment area, you grant Improvement Camp a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that information to respond to you and operate the site. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, or unlawful content.
Reviews, testimonials, survey responses, and other feedback are treated differently, because we may want to quote them. If you send us feedback about a product or about this site, you keep ownership of it, and you grant Improvement Camp a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, abridge, translate, publish, and display it, in whole or in part, in any medium, including in marketing and advertising. That license covers the first name, last initial, and general location you supply, and any image or recording you choose to include. We may edit for length and clarity, but not in a way that changes your meaning, and we are never obligated to use anything you send.
When you send us feedback, you confirm that it describes your own honest experience, that it is truthful, and that it does not contain anyone else's confidential or copyrighted material. Please do not send us health information or other sensitive personal information. If you later change your mind, contact us and we will stop using it going forward, though we cannot recall materials that are already published or distributed.
Disclaimers
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant that any content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or applicable to your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Improvement Camp and its owners, operators, affiliates, and editorial team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to use) the site, any content on the site, any third-party conduct or content including affiliate-linked merchants, any decisions you make based on site content, or any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory and regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, and in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Improvement Camp and its owners, operators, and editorial team from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
Modifications to the site
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We are not liable for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
Modifications to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a revision, stop using the site.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support [at] improvementcamp.com and give us 30 days to work the issue out with you. Most concerns are resolved this way.
Binding individual arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site, or any purchase from the site that is not resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Filing fees that those rules require us to cover will be covered by us.
Class action and jury waiver. You and we each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. Claims may be brought only in an individual capacity. Nothing in this section waives any right you may have to seek public injunctive relief where that right cannot be waived under applicable law, or to report issues to government agencies.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating that you opt out of arbitration, by writing to us at support [at] improvementcamp.com or by mail to: VIEWSPIKE LLC, 500 Cummings Center, Suite 6500, Beverly, MA 01915, United States. If you opt out, or if this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
